Several points on glyphosate:
1. Never spot spay, you inevitably over apply and have dead spots till mid summer.
2. There is only one rate for dormant Bermuda and that is 16oz/a, to boom spray 41% a.i.
3. That is 0.36 oz/g, if you are spraying 1g/1,000 sq ft, not 0.5 or 1oz!
4. There is more resistance to glyphosate than any other herbicide in the market. Do do not use it alone, always add at least 1-2 other modes of action or don’t utilize it at all. Otherwise you will have resistance in a few years.
5. There is not enough adjuvant in the 41% glyphosate, you will need to add more, starting with Ammonium Sulfate and an additional surfactant. Not dish soap.
6. You need to spray when fully dormant. That is the next 4 weeks only! After that it is too late in the winter.
7. You will delay your spring Greenup at least two weeks.
8. Roundup is a brand that no long contains glyphosate.
